Inspired by Asian, Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine, Maia at South Point offers an eclectic mix of authentic flavours with one thing in common: fresh, high quality ingredients. MAIA is located at South Point Antigua – a privately-owned, beachfront property with just a handful of luxury ocean suites and a team of exceptional, dedicated staff. A minimalist, modern design coupled with an Italian-inspired philosophy of ‘la dolce vita’ contribute to South Point’s very distinct style. From the monochromatic colour scheme to the subtle decor and urban chic vibe, South Point Antigua was purposefully designed to contrast – yet complement – its tropical beach setting.
Though the restaurant’s stylish setting suggests fine-dining and dress codes, MAIA is the definition of island chic – understated and easy-going. Both the lounge and restaurant welcome non-hotel guests to enjoy the casual chic vibes. As a testament to this, the restaurant deck, which is suspended over water, is easily accessible by water and equipped for tying up dinghies and paddle boards.

MAIA at South Point offers several beautiful settings for your destination wedding in Antigua. Intimate ceremonies can be performed on our small, private beach or for larger parties, both Pigeon beach and Galleon beach are within 5 minutes drive. Couples may also opt for a beach alternative destination wedding, and say I do from the historic Shirley Heights lookout – an ideal option for a sunset wedding.
